My dear friend from high school, Penny, has a son, Josh. He is getting married next month, and tomorrow is a shower for his bride-to-be. It is a kitchen shower and I am sending the gift, a recipe and some supplies, with my neighbor who is also Penny’s sister. The recipe is for Pineapple UpsideDown Cupcakes. I’ll post it soon.

This site is currently under construction until we decide on a theme!
There are so many things that go on in one’s life on a daily basis. I guess that is what makes the time go so fast! I needed to write these ideas for categories down before I forgot all of them. Scuttlebutt. Family Findings? No, that wasn’t it. See, I have already forgot that one. But it did start with an F. Family Business. sounds boring. Family Fun. That would be a good category. Hopefully we can fit at least one thing of Family Fun in a week!!
Ok, so we have Saturday Scuttlebutt. Family Fun. And I wish I could remember the one I forgot.
Reflection will be one. That will be the main one for my thoughts as it is the name of our blog, Family Relfection. I do like an Aging Gracefully category, which could be about improving our health, or at least maintaining the good health that we have. Can you age gracefully when you are 5? ha
I want 7, 6 or 7 categories for the days of the week. My blogging schedule. Wouldn’t that be great if we added a schedule to our lives, stayed on that schedule, and got organized?

Today was another lazy Sunday. The days go by so fast. We overslept and did not get to church, in fact we woke up about the time church was getting over! We must have needed it. Gregg actually made breakfast about 11 and then the girls and I took some papers to Stacy. Larry came over and helped Gregg mow, and he and Brittany goofed around a little. Gregg took him home so he could get ready for the races and then he and Brittany went to Stuart to see Tex. And so now it is just the baby and I at home and she is starting to wake up, it is about time - she has had a good 3 hour nap. She is just growing so much, Tuesday will be 7 weeks - Where does the time go?
This is a cute picture of Brittany, although the focus is off a little. She can’t get enough of her sissy:
And Brittany took a picture of me and the baby:
As of this moment, it is 56 degrees.
That is what I would call spring in January. But looking at the weather forecast for tomorrow…high of 23 and flurries. In fact, there is flurries in the forecast all weekend. So we will plan on staying in for the weekend and making Runzas.
If I can find a good recipe.
I see it has been October since I have posted. And actually it has been since then since I have not felt well. And now we know why. It is New Year’s Eve and I am home alone watching CBS - The New Adventures of the Old Christine. She can always make me laugh - I must usually be busy on Wednesday at this time, because I don’t watch her very often. Gregg and Brittany had gone rabbit hunting - now they are at the neighbors cleaning rabbits.
I have seen the commercial for “Momma Mia” numerous times and this morning I told Brittany “I am going to rent that movie for New Years”. And I did just that on the way home from work tonight. Now the trick will be to stay awake tonight to watch it. I suppose I should just plan to watch it tomorrow!
